Kannesteinen is a special pedestal-shaped rock located on the seashore in the village of Oppedal on the west side of Vågsøy in Vestland county. Kannesteinen has been shaped by the sea and waves over thousands of years. The process is often referred to as Marine abrasion. The rock is about 3 meters high.
